Why We're Fundraising for Make-A-Wish

We are excited to be participating in the Rising Stars. We're committed to raising money for Make-A-Wish to help grant the wishes of children with critical illnesses like Leila. With your help, it’s possible.

Meet Leila, a bright 13-year-old with congenital heart disease. Leila’s favorite color is violet, and her creativity shines through her love of singing, drawing, and writing. She loves to listen to Beyoncé and Adele, and her favorite movie is Crazy Rich Asians. Leila’s biggest wish is to visit Disney World, where she hopes to create unforgettable memories with her family. 

Here’s what Leila’s mom shared about her: “Leila is a joy. She has an infectiouslaugh and seesthe best in everything. She lovesto sing, write shortstories, and eat at restaurants. Tamales made by her godmother are one of her favorite foods. She has wonderful friends and a loving family, and she inspires everyone she knows. Sometimes hospital trips can be rough, butshe perseveres and brings a lightnessto every situation with her quick wit and uncanny observations. Leila isjust plain awesome.”

Make-A-Wish grants thousands of unique wishes each year. We're fundraising so more deserving kids and their families like Leila can know the happiness, relief and renewal a wish can bring.
