January 27 - March 20, 2025

Rising Stars is an exciting 8-week fundraising competition taking place from January 27th to March 20th. During this 8-week timeframe, student leaders will help raise funds for Make-A-Wish by using a variety of skills such as leadership, marketing, project management, and fundraising. It's a great opportunity for students to get hands-on experience and to build their college resume to help further their education while they support neighborhood children with critical illnesses. The top fundraising student leader will be awarded a $7,500 scholarship and the top 3 student leaders and their team members will each receive a letter of recommendation for their efforts in helping local children have their wishes granted. In addition, Citadel Credit Union will present the $2,500 Citadel Community Champion Scholarship to the student leader who demonstrates an extraordinary commitment to advancing the Make-A-Wish mission. At the end of the 8 weeks, we will gather for the Rising Stars Celebration to recognize all participating students in their time, commitment, and dedication to granting life-changing wishes and announce the top fundraising team.
