Walk With Me. Wish With Me.

Walk For Wishes® is a Make-A-Wish® Michigan fundraiser that celebrates the more than 11,000 Michigan wishes that have already been granted, while raising funds for future wishes. It's a family-friendly event powered by wish families, volunteers, companies, donors and friends.

By participating in Walk For Wishes, you can help bring the life-changing impact of a wish to children in your community who are battling critical illnesses.

A wish experience can truly change a child's life, and you can help.

Event Date: Saturday, May 4, 2024

Event Location: Detroit Zoo — The Detroit Zoo, 8450 W 10 Mile Rd Royal Oak, MI 48067

Registration Fee: Adults - $10.00, Youth (ages 3 - 13) - $5.00, kids 2 and under are free. (Registration price increase: Friday, May 3rd at 5:00 p.m.)

Day of the Event Registration Fee: Adults- $20.00, Youth (ages 3 - 13) - $10.00, kids 2 and under are free.

Event Schedule:
• 7:30 a.m. - Registration Opens
• 8:30 a.m. - Opening Ceremony
• 8:45 a.m. - Walk begins

T-shirt Information: Each participant who raises $100 will receive an event t-shirt at the walk.

Fundraising incentives: Participants can earn great Make-A-Wish prizes based on their fundraising. 

Your fundraising efforts are greatly appreciated, and you deserve to be recognized! These
levels are cumulative. The more you raise, the more you get! Incentive levels $500 and below will be
available at the event. Incentive levels $1,000 and above will be mailed after the event.

$100 - Official 2024 Walk For Wishes T-Shirt

$250 - Make-A-Wish Michigan 16oz Silicone Glass

$500 - Make-A-Wish Michigan Tech Chord Organizer

$1,000 - Make-A-Wish Michigan Long Sleeved T-Shirt

$2,500 - Make-A-Wish Michigan Stanley Cup

$5,000 - Make-A-Wish Michigan Duffle Bag

*Only registered participants qualify for incentive items. Qualifying funds must be received by May 4, 2024. Incentive levels are based on individual fundraising totals, not team totals. Make-A-Wish Michigan reserves the right to substitute an item of equal or greater value, or to change the incentive items at any time.

Additional Details:
• The full distance for the walk is about 1.5 miles through the zoo.
• Parking is available on-site at the Detroit Zoo.
• Pets are not allowed at the zoo.
