As many of you know, I am actively engaged with the Make-A-Wish Metro New York Young Professionals Program. The Young Professionals Program is a community of individuals who support the Make-A-Wish mission to create life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses. We believe that a wish is essential to help a child replace fear today with confidence and optimism for their future. Our members have a collective goal: to raise funds and serve as advocates on behalf of children with critical illnesses in the Metro New York Community. It’s been an honor and privilege for me to Chair this program for the last two years and for the year to come.
As part of our 2022 fundraising kick-off, the Young Professionals Program is joining the larger Make-A-Wish community for our annual Polar Bear Splash event. After last year's #splashfromhome event, we are going back to the beach to fundraise and raise awareness for our amazing Wish kids. Wish kids are awesome of the bravest and sweetest kids you'll ever know. They wish to work in a pickle factory, become a superhero, go snorkeling, give their baseball team new uniforms, and push all of the buttons in a tall building's elevator. Make-A-Wish grants thousands of unique wishes each year. A lot, yes. But that’s only 50% of eligible kids. Parents, health professionals and volunteers agree that a wish empowers wish kids to fight harder against their illnesses. I believe that every wish brings a little more kindness and joy into the world, something I’ve had the ability to witness first hand. I’m fundraising so more deserving kids and their families can know the happiness, relief and renewal a wish can bring.
Please help me support this great cause by joining me or making a donation to my 2022 Polar Bear Splash fundraising goal.
Thank you for your support!
