Dear friends, family and community members,
My name is Colton. I’m a 4-year-old from Coos Bay and I am a 2024 Make-A-Wish Oregon Wish Ambassador!
As a Wish Ambassador, it is my job to spread the life-changing hope, strength, and joy that a wish provides to other local kids and families. My wish had a huge impact on my family, allowed for an escape and time to heal. I want to do everything I can to make sure other families have the same experience.
I wished to meet my idols, The Avengers! The minute I spotted Iron Man, I was starstruck. I was speechless in that moment of joy. My mom says it was a very emotional experience for the entire family as superhero after superhero came out to greet us. The Black Panther also gave special recognition to my sister, Khloe, who is a true superhero, too! She donated her bone marrow during my battle with an autoimmune disorder – and it saved my life!
Wishes are important because they make you believe in magic and provide the truest form of happiness. My mom, Kayla, says, “He truly believes with his entire heart and soul that he is now an Avenger because of the special time and attention they gave him. It was just a moment for them, but it was truly life-changing for him.”
Today, I’m asking you to take just a moment to support me in donating so we can share renewed strength with future wish kids. Kids like me, who are battling a critical illness like cancer or heart disease and deserve to dream big and feel the hope a wish can bring.
Let’s show other kids in our community what can happen when a group of caring people rally around them to make dreams come true. Donate to my page in support of local, life-changing wishes, like mine.
Sincerely,
Wish Ambassador Colton
