When our Make-A-Wish office received a $4.11 donation and handwritten note from a child named Brooks, we knew we had to track them down to personally thank them. We are on a mission to find our caring (and mystery) Brooks so we can show just how impactful a single donation can be if we rally together for local children battling critical illnesses. Since Brooks wants to help grant wishes, that is exactly what we are going to do!
We have created this community fundraising page for two reasons: to find Brooks and to grant wishes in Brooks' honor. With the average cost of a wish at just over $10,000, we are encouraging our community to rally around Brooks to bring joy to local wish kids waiting for their wish - by raising $10,000.
A generous donor has pledged to match every gift, dollar for dollar, up to $10,000 so that we can grant 2 wishes in Brooks' name!
