Dear Friends and Family,
The students of Arvada West High School are raising money to support Make-A-Wish Colorado and their mission to create life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses. With your help, it's possible. We will be holding different fundraising events the week of February 10 - 14, 2020.
Wish kids are some of the bravest and sweetest kids you'll ever know. They wish to work in a pickle factory, become a superhero, go snorkeling, give their baseball team new uniforms, and push all of the buttons in a tall building's elevator. Their innocence and unexpected wisdom stays with you.
This year we will be raising money for Taylor, a 3 year old from Denver, Colorado who wishes to go to the beach. Taylor wishes to go to the beach she loves the water and wants to stay away from crowds. She would love time to spend with her family without worrying about doctor appointments.
A wish come true helps children feel stronger, more energetic, more willing and able to battle their critical illnesses. For many, the wish marks a turning point in the fight against their illnesses. Doctors, nurses and other health professionals say, the wish experience works in concert with medicine to make their patients feel better emotionally and even physically.
Make-A-Wish Colorado grants hundreds of unique wishes each year. But for every wish granted, another eligible child is waiting for their wish to come true.
It's truly amazing what wishes can do... give kids renewed energy and strength, bring families closer together and unite communities. Together, we can grant more wishes. Please donate today.
Thank you for your support!
