Dear friends, family and community members,
My name is Peyton. I’m a 13-year-old from Sutherlin and I am a 2024 Make-A-Wish Oregon Wish Ambassador!
As a Wish Ambassador, it is my job to spread the life-changing hope, strength, and joy that a wish provides to other local kids and families. I have battled the unimaginable with my heart condition and Make-A-Wish has given me so much. It will be good to give back with my fellow ambassadors and friends.
My wish was to go to New York City during Christmas. It’s an amazing city to see during the holidays and I’ve always wanted to go there. I was so excited the moment we stepped into the airport and was eager to set foot in NYC! My favorite part was getting to visit the famous Richard Rogers Theatre and see my favorite show, Hamilton.
Wishes are important because they give kids opportunities they would never have otherwise. Wishes give them hope.
Today, I’m asking you to support me in donating so we can share that renewed strength with future wish kids. Kids like me, who are battling a critical illness like cancer or heart disease and deserve to dream big and feel the hope a wish can bring.
Let’s show other kids in our community what can happen when a group of caring people rally around them to make dreams come true. Donate to my page in support of local, life-changing wishes, like mine.
Sincerely,
Wish Ambassador Peyton
