Rocky Run for Make-a-Wish NJ
Welcome!
We're proudly fundraising for Make-A-Wish – will you join us by making a gift today?
Together, Team Amicus can support the Make-A-Wish Mission to create life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses. Wishes are more than just a nice thing, a gift, or a singular event in time. Wishes impact everyone involved — wish kids, volunteers, donors, sponsors, medical professionals and communities. For wish kids, a wish come true can give them the courage to comply with medical treatments. Parents might finally feel like they can be optimistic. And still others might realize all they have to offer the world through philanthropy.
Last year, together we raised more than $17,000 for Make-a-Wish NJ, inspired by the wish of Gary LaSasso’s relative Frankie LaSasso V, who wanted to go with his family to Hawaii. It was a trip that was planned shortly before he was diagnosed with Leukemia in 2021.
We were successful in helping to grant Frankie‘s wish as he and his family celebrated the end of his cancer treatments with that trip to Hawaii in July 2024.
But there are still more wishes to be granted. This year, Gary is joined by Amicus colleagues Osman Sheikh, Manish Parmar, Roy Chen, Joshua Saragovi, Jeff Schomer, Dean Cardulla and Vijay Janakiraman, along with runners from around the world for the official Rocky Run 5K, 10 Mile & Half-Marathon (the full “Italian Stallion” Challenge) in Philadelphia.
Please consider donating and helping children realize the transformative power of a wish.
Thanks for your support!
