MOVE: The Initiative
Every summer MOVE finds a fundraiser or company to find ways of helping those in need. MOVE has had the honor of getting to know an amazing young gentleman, Preston Henderson, over many years now. He entered our summer camp along with his eldest brother and now we have had the chance to instruct his younger brother as well! We can not speak highly enough about this wonderful family and are so thankful to have their positive and fun energy surrounding all of those at MOVE.
Preston's story started with a pesky headache that ended up being diagnosed as a brain tumor in 2023. He is 17 years old and continues to be a strong and resilient young gentleman. He is an inspiration to all of those who are around him.
Make A Wish Maine has made a huge impact on his life. It is our hope that our MOVE Family can help make the same impact for others as they did for him.

When a wish is granted, a child replaces fear with confidence, sadness with joy and anxiety with hope. The majority of wish kids go on to beat their critical illnesses, and research shows that a wish can help children build the physical and emotional strength they need to fight – giving them a better chance of surviving and thriving.
Every day, 70+ children are diagnosed with a critical illness and count on donors like us to help make their wish come true.
