Every hour of every day, three children are diagnosed with a critical illness. Every one of these kids needs a wish to give them strength and help them heal. When a wish is granted, a child replaces fear with confidence, anxiety with excitement and sadness with optimism.

With the help of people like you, Make-A-Wish creates more than 15,000 life-changing wishes nationwide every year wishes that give children renewed energy and strength, bring families closer together and unite communities.

• Make-A-Wish has granted more than 315,000 wishes in the U.S. and its territories since our inception in 1980.
• Nearly 40,000 volunteers across the U.S. and its territories help us grant thousands of wishes each year.
• Last year, Make-A-Wish granted more than 15,600 wishes throughout the U.S. and its territories
• Make-A-Wish serves every community in the United States and its territories through 60 chapters nationwide.
• A wish is granted every 34 minutes, on average, somewhere in the U.S. and its territories.
