Walk With Me. Wish With Me.

Walk For Wishes^® is a Make-A-Wish^® Michigan fundraiser that celebrates the more than 11,000 Michigan wishes that have already been granted, while raising funds for future wishes. It's a family-friendly event powered by wish families, volunteers, companies, donors and friends.

By participating in Walk For Wishes, you can help bring the life-changing impact of a wish to children in your community who are battling critical illnesses.

A wish experience can truly change a child's life, and you can help.

Event Date: Saturday, May 6, 2023

Event Location: Detroit Zoo — The Detroit Zoo, 8450 W 10 Mile Rd  Royal Oak,  MI  48067

Registration Fee: Adults - $10.00, Youth (ages 3 - 13) - $5.00, kids 2 and under are free.

Day of the Event Registration Fee: Adults- $20.00, Youth (ages 3 - 13) - $10.00, kids 2 and under are free.

Event Schedule:

• 7:30 a.m. - Registration Opens
• 8:30 a.m. - Opening Ceremony
• 8:45 a.m. - Walk begins

T-shirt Information: Each participant who raises $100 will receive an event t-shirt at the walk. 

Fundraising incentives:  Participants can earn great Make-A-Wish prizes based on their fundraising. 

Additional Details:

• The full distance for the walk is about 1.5 miles through the zoo. 
• Parking is available on-site at the Detroit Zoo. 
• Pets are not allowed at the zoo.
