What is the Wish Heroes campaign?
The Wish Heroes campaign celebrates the importance of wish-granting and Make-A-Wish supporters. Each Wish Hero helps make future wishes possible through personal fundraising.

Now more than ever, the world needs the hope of a wish come true. Through the help of Wish Heroes and their generous family and friends, more people will learn the incredible power of a wish and, together, we will ensure that wish-granting continues during this critical time.

How much does a Wish Hero raise?
Wish Heroes are passionate about Make-A-Wish and commit to raising $1,000 per Hero during the campaign. Make-A-Wish does not require or charge a credit card to reach this fundraising threshold. It’s simply the recommended personal fundraising target.

What support does Make-A-Wish provide to Wish Heroes?

• Make-A-Wish can assist in creating a fundraising page for of each Wish Hero.
• Personal fundraising tips and resources.
• Online fundraising tools that make it easy to ask for support.
• A Wish Heroes fundraising app (optional).
• Sample messages and tools to promote your fundraising page.
• Inspiring stories of wish kids and their families.
• Ongoing support from a Make-A-Wish staff members.

How do I become a Wish Hero?
If you’re passionate about Make-A-Wish and want to become a Wish Hero, please let us know. We’d love to welcome you to this incredible community of supporters.

How do I nominate a Wish Hero?
We appreciate referrals! If you know someone who should be a Wish Hero, please nominate them using this form. We’d love to welcome them to this incredible community of supporters.

Can I become a Wish Hero with a buddy?
Most Wish Heroes fundraise individually. However, some Wish Heroes choose to fundraise as a family or with a significant other.

Can I create a team of Wish Heroes?
If multiple people would like to become Wish Heroes together, we suggest forming a Wish Heroes Team with an overall team goal and fundraising tracking thermometer. Each individual Wish Hero can then register as a member of that team with their own personal fundraising page. All members’ fundraising supports the team’s goal and progress.
