About The Trail: The Jordan Valley Pathway is an 18-mile hiking trail in the Jordan River Valley. The pathway winds through the Mackinaw State Forest along the Jordan River. This scenic valley is well worth a trip in any season, however fall colors are noteworthy due to its rich hardwood forests. Its looped trail system is mixed with moderate to rugged topography, providing excellent opportunities for hikers and backpackers.
About the Trailblaze Challenge
The Trailblaze Challenge is a 21-mile hike where participants can tackle the terrain of the Jordan River Pathway - all in one amazing day! This is a hike, not a race, and caters to all levels from novice to advanced outdoor enthusiasts.
As well as being an extraordinary physical test, the real challenge is to raise much-needed funds to grant the wishes of children in Michigan with critical illnesses. A wish gives children renewed energy and strength, brings families closer together, and unites communities.
Make-A-Wish Michigan is actively granting non-travel wishes, yet our fundraising revenue has been significantly impacted due to the pandemic. You can help make wishes a reality for more Michigan kids with critical illnesses this year by supporting the Trailblaze Challenge!
