FM 93.5 The Burg & WMBG AM 740 are proud to be fundraising much needed funds to grant a wish to a local child facing critical illness. Our goal is to raise $10,000, the cost of a wish, by [DATE}.

We are Williamsburg’s Radio Station and pride ourselves on playing great music, music that makes you feel good and perhaps brings back memories of days gone by.

Along with wonderful music and doing good in the community we want to provide you with information about Williamsburg and all that goes on in Williamsburg. The things that make our city the best place to live are the things we want to share with our listeners. These things, along with informative news and emergency information, are a few of the things that have helped us to remain Williamsburg’s Radio Station since 1958.

Now more than ever, hope is essential for children with critical illnesses. Make-A-Wish is committed to ensuring that no child waits even one unnecessary day to experience the hope and joy that a wish brings. When a wish is granted, a child replaces fear with confidence, sadness with joy, and anxiety with hope. Research shows children who have wishes granted can build the physical and emotional strength they need to fight a critical illness.

We are fundraising because Make-A-Wish needs your help to bring experiences of hope to waiting wish kids who are isolated and vulnerable, and to prepare now to ensure all types of wishes are granted — when it is safe.
