Jordan River Pathway

The Trailblaze Challenge is a 21-mile hike where participants can tackle the terrain of the Jordan River Pathway - all in one amazing day! This is a hike, not a race, and caters to all levels from novice to advanced outdoor enthusiasts.

As well as being an extraordinary physical test, the real challenge is to raise much-needed funds to grant the wishes of children in Michigan with critical illnesses. Now more than ever, hope is essential. Make-A-Wish continues to actively grant non-travel wishes, and we don't want any wish kid to wait a single day longer than necessary to experience the hope and joy that a wish brings.

By supporting the Trailblaze Challenge, you will help Make-A-Wish Michigan grant hundreds of wishes this year.

How Do I Get Started?

To begin this life-changing journey, you'll need to attend an information meeting. These meetings are designed to inform you about the mission of Make-A-Wish and describe in detail the weekend-long hike event.

Alexis, 10

Alexis, who has an autoimmune disorder, wished to have a Bernedoodle puppy. "It’s been a couple of years in and out of the hospital, so seeing her eyes light up with this puppy is a miracle," Alexis' dad, Josh, said.
