As a Make-A-Wish alumni, I know first hand what Make-A-Wish can do for kids. My story started in 2020, while my wish happened in 2022. Due to treatments and Covid we delayed the wish because I really wanted to go to Disney. The trip to Disney was an amazing time away with family and we had a great experience.
I am really proud to support Make-A-Wish and their work in our community. Make-A-Wish creates life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses. A wish gives children renewed energy and strength, brings families closer together and unites communities.
Did you know that Make-A-Wish grants more than 15,000 wishes nationwide every year? That’s a lot, yes. But that’s only 50% of the eligible kids. Every hour of every day, three children are diagnosed with a critical illness. Every one of these kids needs a wish to give them strength and help them heal. I’m fundraising so more deserving kids and their families can know the happiness, relief and renewal a wish can bring.
These life-changing wishes are only possible because of supporters like us. A wish experience can truly change a child’s life, and so can we.
