Tristin is seventeen and he just finished his cancer chemo treatments in January. Tristin’s wish is to go to Hawaii so he can spend time with his family on the beach, snorkel, watch the sunset and go to a luau. He wants his trip to take place this summer, so he doesn't have to miss any more school and can enjoy the water after his port is removed.
Nelson Connects and HGS are raising money for Make-A-Wish Greater Bay Area to help grant wishes for children with critical illnesses, and you’re invited to join in!
It's truly amazing what wishes can do. When a wish is granted, a child replaces fear with confidence, sadness with joy, and anxiety with hope. Research shows that children who have wishes granted build the physical and emotional strength they need to fight a critical illness.
Every April, Make-A-Wish celebrates World Wish Month to honor the anniversary of the wish that inspired the founding of Make-A-Wish in 1980. During this year’s World Wish Month, Make-A-Wish is relying on generous supporters like all of us to help restore hope for wish kids and their families – and empower them to experience life beyond illness.
Make-A-Wish grants thousands of unique wishes each year. A wish begins with hope. And hope begins with you.
Together, we can grant more wishes. Please join us and donate what you can today or support Make-A-Wish in other ways.
