Dear Friends and Family,
The students at Niwot High School are raising money to support Make-A-Wish Colorado and their mission to create life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses. Together, we can make more wishes come true! We will be hosting different fundraising events the week of January 22-27, 2024, as part of the Niwot Wish Week, as well as fundraising right here on our website!
Last year, we raised over $10,000 for kids like our Wish Kid, Kingston, for Make-A-Wish Colorado! Since then, Kingston has been able to go to Disneyland and got to experience a life-changing wish with his family!
This year, we want to surpass our donation from last year to raise even more money in support of Make-A-Wish Colorado! A wish experience can be a game-changer for a child with a critical illness. Wish alumni, parents, and medical professionals all agree that a wish is a necessary part of the medical treatment journey, giving kids the strength to fight against and even overcome their critical illness. Wishes increase hope, strength, joy, confidence, self-esteem, quality of life, and well-being.
Our Wish Kid this year is Charlie! Charlie is a 14-year-old Niwot native. He has cystic fibrosis, and his wish is to meet the NBA Commissioner. Charlie loves the Beatles, Ted Lasso, Sour Patch Kids, and most importantly, all things basketball!
With your help, we can help raise money for Make-A-Wish Colorado in honor of Charlie and his wish. We would appreciate it if you consider donating and sharing with friends and family!
Thank you for your support!
