The students at Thomas Jefferson High School are raising money to support Make-A-Wish Colorado and their mission to create life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses. Together, we can make more wishes come true! We will be hosting different fundraising events up until the week of February 5 - 9, 2024.
A wish experience can be a game-changer for a child with a critical illness. Wish alumni, parents and medical professionals all agree that a wish is a necessary part of the medical treatment journey, giving kids the strength to fight against and even overcome their critical illness. Fulfilling wishes increase hope, strength, joy, confidence, self-esteem, quality of life and well-being for the most deserving of children.
When a wish comes true, it creates strength, hope and transformation in a child - and a community. But these life-changing wishes wouldn't happen without donors like you. With your support we can Make Kids like Haven wishes come true!
Haven is a 7 year old girl who enjoys all things a little girl should. Haven happens to have a cancerous brain tumor called a Thalamic Glioma which is inoperable. With this being said, her treatment requires intense radiation and chemotherapy. Through this hardship, Haven never fails to keep her contagious smile across her face. We want to help put the biggest smile on her face through raising money to grant her Wish. Haven’s wish is to go to Disney Land and Meet Mickey mouse! With our help, and yours, Make-A-Wish Colorado can deliver strength, hope and make dreams come true to kids across the state like Haven!
