Aiden’s Journey with us began in 2012 through foster care after suffering a Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI). The fantastic Mr.A became a permanent member of our family through adoption in December of 2013. As a result of the TBI Aiden had numerous health issues that resulted in being a frequent visitor at the hospital in Green Bay and occasionally would have to spend time at the Children’s Hospitals in Milwaukee and Madison. His critical medical condition led to his being granted a wish from Make-A-Wish in 2015. Our visit to Disney World was an experience that showed our family the true impact and power of a wish. It was a week that was truly amazing as it brought our family even closer together, bringing renewed strength and energy both that week and the next few months.
Our family will be forever grateful for the experience of Aiden’s Make A Wish trip that took place just 3 months before he passed away. It’s why we desire to pay it forward by raising funds to help grant wishes for other medically eligible children.
Wish kids are some of the bravest and sweetest kids you'll ever know. Their wishes could be anything such as working in a pickle factory, meeting a movie star or sports athlete, having a room makeover, becoming a superhero, taking a trip and pushing all the buttons in a tall building’s elevator.
Make-A-Wish grants thousands of unique wishes each year. But for every wish granted, another eligible child is waiting for their wish to come true.
Together, we can grant more wishes.
