Windows for a Cause is an annual fundraiser that combines passionate communities with artistic talents from all over the state to raise money for deserving families and individuals. The event launched in 2016 after recognizing an opportunity to significantly reduce landfill waste. After our professionals install new windows in a home the old windows are usually thrown away, sending thousands of windows to the landfill. Instead of continuing to throw away these old windows, we collaborate with local artists, organizations and members of the community to creatively turn the old windows into art pieces. The works of art are then displayed and auctioned off.
All proceeds from the event are used to make a positive impact in the life of a deserving family or individual. Make-a-Wish Wisconsin will be the beneficiary for the 2019 event taking place on Tuesday, September 10th, 2019 at the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center. Admission is free with a $5 suggested donation at the door. Complimentary hors d’oeuvres to be served with a cash bar available.
Five-year-old Logan is one of the wish kids whose wish we will help grant this year. Logan was born with Duchenne muscular dystrophy which is a genetic disease that causes muscle weakness leading to the inability to walk without assistance, respiratory problems and trouble swallowing. Logan's wish is to go to his favorite Florida theme parks.
Together, we can grant more wishes. If you are unable to attend on the 10th but would still like to contribute, please donate today.
