As you may know, Peter, grandchild number 6 of 13, was diagnosed with cancer in his early months of life. After a year of surgeries and treatment, Make-A-Wish Wisconsin granted Peter’s wish to go to California.
Make-A-Wish included Peter in a variety of events in the year leading up to his wish, pouring joy and excitement into Peter’s life every chance they could. The experience culminated with the trip of a lifetime visiting Legoland, the San Diego Zoo, USS Midway and the beach.
Make-A-Wish made everyone in the family feel unique, special and most importantly, cared for. Each interaction with Make-A-Wish was magically sprinkled with reprieve and delight. The JOY spread by Make-A-Wish is a true gift for families whose lives are full of fear and worry.
