Brady is once again participating in a great fundraiser with his basketball team. Below, is an explanation and our "why" for participating in it!

✨Brady is raising funds exclusively for Make-A-Wish. All donations will go straight there. I love this because Mukwonago Basketball isn't fundraising for themselves, it's for a greater cause.✨
✨Make-A-Wish helps kids and families that endure daily struggles, that most us can't even fathom and make a dream come true, and hopefully, forget about those daily struggles for at least a moment in time.✨
✨Last year's kick-off meeting still resonates with me. It really hit me hard, how these "wishes" mean way more than a fun trip or a new gaming system for these kids and their families. A teacher and basketball coach at the high school has a "Wish Kid". He explained that the wish for his son meant so much more. It was the first time his son felt "on top of the world" because he was the reason their family got to go to Disney World. He was celebrated. In so many words, he explained, as a parent, you want your children to have as many of those moments as possible and it doesn't happen easily for most kids that are eligible for a Wish. That was a wish come true for them, as parents. For their other 4 kids, they were able to have an amazing trip with their brother. Their brother was able to be included in every activity even though he is wheelchair bound. (Disney World makes this possible). A wish come true again, for their whole family.✨
✨Mukwonago Basketball has a goal of raising $200,000 this year. This would grant about 20 wishes to kids and their families.✨
✨Brady made a personal goal of raising $1,000. We did some research and found that this could cover the cost of the adoption of a puppy or a bicycle and all the accessories for it. And we hope that we can be a small part of granting a Wish to a child and make a dream come true for them and their family.✨
✨Brady will be shooting 100 freethrows at an upcoming practice for this event. The fundraiser ends on January 30th✨
