Fourth annual Charity Golf Outing, hosted by the Plexus Young Professionals (PYP)
Leading up to and during the outing, money is raised for a local charity in need. We have chosen to continue our support of Make-A-Wish Wisconsin, whose mission is to create life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses. Last year we raised $11,000 for wishes, let's break that record this year!

Meet Wish Kid Hazel
"Hazel is a 3-year-old girl who loves running down hills, playing at parks, coloring with chalk, getting dirty in the sandbox, petting kittens, painting rainbows, setting up tea parties, dancing like a ballerina, singing worship music, chasing her brother, being tickled by her dad, snuggling with her mom and spending time with her family and friends.
Hazel has a deep joy and appreciation for life. God gifted her with a fierce personality that served her well through some really hard times and will help her thrive her whole life!
When Hazel was 1 year old her weight wasn’t increasing as it should. For a year we were in and out of hospitals, pediatrician visits, and specialist clinics. We wanted to know what the root cause of her low appetite was and after a long wait, we finally had answers. In September 2022 a doctor ordered an MRI that showed Hazel had a brain tumor with metastasis on her spine. She has a low-grade glioma brain tumor, a type of brain cancer. With 14 months of chemotherapy ahead of her, she needed surgery to have a port placed for infusions and a gastrostomy tube placed for nutrition and supportive medications. Every Monday for 14 months, we drove from Greenville to Milwaukee for chemotherapy at the MACC Fund Clinic. We were so blessed to have so much family support during this challenging time. Her immune system was weak, and she dealt with nausea and vomiting. Our family made many sacrifices to keep her safe. Hazel completed chemotherapy in November of 2023. She continues to get MRIs every 3 months to monitor her brain tumor. We are so grateful that each scan has shown the tumor is stable and it has not grown since she was diagnosed. We have been blessed with an amazing oncologist and nurses at the children’s hospital. Ater finishing chemo we also teamed up with a pediatric integrative oncology specialist who is helping us look at root cause issues and providing additional therapies for Hazel on her healing journey. Hazel has handled all of this with grace and joy, and she has inspired so many with her strength and bravery. We have felt God all along the way and we trust his plan for each of us are good. We know he’s powerful enough to heal and he’s also powerful enough to use our struggles to reveal himself in the hearts of others. And that is a miracle!
When we told Hazel she could Make a Wish and it would be granted she felt so special and excited. She would randomly say things like “I wish I could ride a horse”, “I wish I could ride a merry-go-round”, “I wish I could meet Anna, Elsa and Olaf”, “I wish I could go to the beach”, I wish I could meet Tinker Bell.” She had no idea that there is a place that she could go to that has all these things, but it was clear that the perfect wish for our sweet girl is to go to Disney World! God bless you for supporting these amazing organizations that provide happiness, joy, and healing to so many children." - Hazel's parents, Cullen & Lauryn.
