Robert “Bob” J. Landsee, age 59, passed away unexpectedly of natural causes on Saturday, January 20, 2024 at his winter home in Florida. Son of Frank and Maria Landsee, he was born in Milwaukee on March 21, 1964, and raised in Iron Mountain Michigan. Bob graduated from the UW-Madison where he was captain of the UW football team and graduated with a Bachelors degree in agricultural business. On March 21, 1987 he was united in marriage to the love of his life, Sharon Dollins in Madison and had two daughters, Sara and Melissa, and ever since then family was Bob's top priority. Together Bob and Sharon owned and operated numerous businesses throughout the Midwest and Bob both coached and played football professionally. One of his largest passions in life was developing and mentoring young men to be successful on and off the football field. He also supported the Children's hospital of Wisconsin and Boys and Girls Club in Madison for many years.
In lieu of flowers, we are requesting that remembrances be made in the form of contributions to Make-A-Wish Wisconsin. When a wish is granted, a child replaces fear with confidence, sadness with joy and anxiety with hope. Every day, 70+ children are diagnosed with a critical illness and count on donors like us to help make their wish come true.
All of the funds raised in Bobs honor will go towards granting Noahs wish. Noah is a 17-year-old from De Pere who’s living with cancer. He enjoys fishing, playing golf with his grandpa, playing football, playing games with friends and sitting around campfires. He wishes to be meet Cooper Kupp from the LA Rams.
Thank you for helping us make wishes come true in memory of Bob!
