The Williamsville Central School district is a beloved community made up of children, families, teachers, support staff, and administrators, who love and appreciate the place we call home. The student leaders wanted to take on something meaningful in these trying times of Covid-19 – all with a goal to bring our community together in support of life-changing wishes for families faced with devastating illness.
Make-A-Wish Western New York is a local organization that changes lives everyday by granting wishes for children with critical illnesses. It's truly amazing what wishes can do! Wishes give kids renewed energy and strength, bring families closer together and unite communities.
We see through their stories just how brave these kids are as they battle an illness head-on. Wishes are based on a child’s true imagination. From a wish to become a superhero, to a wish for a companion puppy, and even wishes for room makeovers and shopping sprees, the wish experience is meaningful throughout the entire journey.
Our Western New York community has many brave children battling critical illness, dreaming and awaiting a wish come true, including six children within the Williamsville Central School District. Our Williamsville student body is determined to help Make-A-Wish grant life-changing wishes and support families in our school community.
We are committed to funding all six wishes with students in each of the 13 Williamsville Schools united in this mission! They are coordinating activities and have the #Willpower for Wishes.
We hope that you will support our students and this life-changing organization by donating today!
Each school will host a variety of fundraising activities. Please consider participating in the events and sharing the fundraising link among your network, as well as posting to social media. We encourage you to also purchase #willpower apparel and make a gift by donating to Make-A-Wish Western New York.
Thank you for helping transform lives, one wish at a time!
