HOPE is the secret medicine that helps children with critical illnesses build the physical and emotional strength they need.
A wish helps a child replace fear with confidence, sadness with joy, and anxiety with HOPE.
While enduring ongoing, uncomfortable treatment, Maddison has asked her mom and dad, "What can I think about?" The best answer has been, "Think about your wish!" Maddison's wish has been an enormous comfort to this brave girl. She has been unable to visit with other kids in the hospital in person, but they do talk by walkie-talkie.
Maddison has heard about other kids' wishes and is excited about her turn! Her wish is to ride a carousel with a princess.
