2023-2024 Wish Your Way Southern Florida
MAN3025 Fall 2023 Make-A-Wish
Our MAN3025 Fall '23 class taught by Dr. Roomes is proudly sponsoring Wish Kid, Ean, whose wish is to go to Disney World. Our goal is to raise a minimum of $5,000 which is the average cost of a wish.
Ean is 9 years old and has Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, one of the most severe forms of inherited muscular dystrophies. His wish is to go to Disney World because he wants to enjoy the rides with his family, meet Mickey, go to Star Wars Land, and meet his favorite Marvel characters at Islands of Adventure. He is a huge fan of Captain America and Spiderman!
When a wish is granted, a child replaces fear with confidence, sadness with joy and anxiety with hope. The majority of wish kids go on to beat their critical illnesses, and research shows that a wish can help children build the physical and emotional strength they need to fight – giving them a better chance of surviving and thriving.
Every day, 70+ children are diagnosed with a critical illness and count on donors like us to help make their wish come true.
Thanks for your support!
