My Make-A-Wish Story...
At the age of seven, I was diagnosed with stage 4 non-Hodgkins lymphoma. This was a really traumatic experience for me, and it affected my entire family, but after several rounds of chemo, days when I was too weak to walk and missing an entire year of school, I survived. Make-A-Wish granted me the wish of a lifetime when I was given the opportunity to visit some of my closest friends who had moved Switzerland. At the time, it was hard to imagine a trip anywhere outside of the hospital, but Make-A-Wish took one of the toughest moments in my life and transformed it into something amazing. I had an incredible time, and it is a memory that I will never forget.
Now, at the age of 15, I am giving back to my community by raising money to help grant wishes for children with critical illnesses. It's truly amazing what wishes can do. A wish renews hope, uplifts spirits and encourages the belief in the impossible.
Make-A-Wish grants thousands of unique wishes each year. A wish begins with hope. And hope begins with you.
Together, we can grant more wishes. Please donate today.
