This fundraiser is especially meaningful because it’s dedicated to Gaby, a brave 10-year-old who will turn 11 in October. Gaby was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia Type B on December 20, 2023. Her family made the difficult decision to leave Ecuador so Gaby could get the urgent treatment she needed. Arriving in the U.S. just days later, she began her journey of healing at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital.

While Gaby continues to face her challenges head-on, she remains hopeful. Surrounded by her family’s love and unwavering support, she believes she can overcome anything. Now, her greatest wish is to have a poodle puppy, a loyal companion to be by her side as she continues her courageous fight against cancer.
