The OV Flock is a community-based fundraiser that brings families, neighbors and friends together to "flock" local yards to raise awareness and support for Make-A-Wish South Carolina! Flocking is placing dozens of brightly colored flamingos in your yard for all to see!
Our goal is to inspire the Old Village neighborhood to join together in support of Make-A-Wish South Carolina and to help grant wishes for children with critical or life-threatening illnesses. All funds raised through this event will directly benefit the organization - the more yards we flock, the more wishes we grant!
Please know, when a wish is granted, a child replaces fear with confidence, sadness with joy and anxiety with hope. The majority of wish kids go on to beat their critical illnesses, and research shows that a wish can help children build the physical and emotional strength they need to fight – giving them a better chance of surviving and thriving.
Every day, 70+ children are diagnosed with a critical illness and count on donors like us to help make their wish come true.
