Welcome to Vista's Big Give 2024!!
It is time again to come together as a district and a community to make wishes come true.
For almost 2 decades Vista Unified School District has been granting wishes of local Wish Kids. We have partnered with San Diego Make-A-Wish to give our students and community the opportunity to make a difference.
Every 2 years we work together to raise money to grant wishes and bring hope and joy to wish kids in North County. This year we have adopted the wishes of Leana and Madeline. Leana suffers from a nervous system disorder and wishes to attend Fashion Week in New York and Madeleine has leukemia and wishes to travel to Disney Aulani Resort.
Our goal is to unite ALL VUSD sites and the community in a combined effort to grant their wishes. Vista’s Big Give provides priceless opportunities for student leadership, teamwork and empathy building.
When a wish is granted, a child replaces fear with confidence, sadness with joy and anxiety with hope. The majority of wish kids go on to beat their critical illnesses, and research shows that a wish can help children build the physical and emotional strength they need to fight – giving them a better chance of surviving and thriving.
