The first value that we live by at Limbach is WE CARE. When Make-A-Wish came through for one of our own, we decided to show our support through this Limbach Walk for Make-A-Wish Fundraiser.
Our Sales Representative, Danny Bawor’s 3-year-old daughter McKenzie has a terminal illness. She has Leighs Syndrome, a neurometabolic disorder that affects the central nervous system. Danny and his family are committed to creating great experiences together as often and as long as possible.
Thanks to Make-A-Wish, McKenzie’s wish to visit Disney World was fulfilled, and her family has a special memory they share.
Wishes are more than just a nice thing. And they are far more than gifts, or singular events in time. Wishes impact everyone involved—wish kids, volunteers, donors, sponsors, medical professionals, and
communities. For wish kids, just the act of making their wish come true can give them essential courage.

McKenzie spends most of her days with doctors, therapists, and labs. For her family to be able to watch her smile, hug all the princesses, and be a normal kid for a week, was one of the greatest gifts they ever received.
