Mike was known and loved by many of us. Mr. Morrone, Dad, Poppy, Uncle Mike, Hen, are just a few of his titles. Mentor, care giver, coach, consultant, are a mere few of the hats he wore.
With a larger than life personality, Mike was always rooting for the next guy and willing to reach out and bring them up, while at the forefront of his ambitions were his family values and love for his family.
Mike was also a long time supporter of Make-A-Wish and, as a result, his fundraising provided a long list of dreams made come true for many families and children. Mike truly understood that when a wish is granted, a child replaces fear with confidence, sadness with joy and anxiety with hope. This brought him great joy as he knew the majority of wish kids go on to beat their critical illnesses; and research shows that a wish can help children build the physical and emotional strength they need to fight – giving them a better chance of surviving and thriving.
In-Liew of flowers, the Morrone Family is proudly fundraising for Make-A-Wish on behalf of Michael A. Morrone, in essence of his memory, and to see that his legacy of providing for a long time foundation close to him continues to thrive.
