Dear Friends, Family & Alumni,
Welcome to our fundraising page supporting Make-A-Wish Oregon. We started this online fundraiser to support Sigma Chi's annual Derby Days philanthropy competition, and we are asking for your help as we work to grant the wishes of local courageous children in our community.
Together, we can bring joy back into their lives, and make their wishes a reality!
Our local Make-A-Wish chapter, based in Portland, grants wishes to children ages 2 1/2 to 18, living in Oregon and Clark County, Washington. When a wish is granted, a child replaces fear with confidence, sadness with joy and anxiety with hope. For many of these children, it marks a turning point in their fight against their illness.
We are very passionate about joining as a community to better the lives of others. We are excited to invite friends and families of the University of Oregon to join our fundraising efforts. Please help by contributing any amount you can!
Every dollar you donate can help Make-A-Wish kids renew their courage and provide a life-changing moment in their lives.
