Dear friends, family and community members,
My name is Emmi, a 5-year-old from Hillsboro, and I am a 2025 Make-A-Wish Oregon Wish Ambassador!
As a Wish Ambassador, it is my job to spread the life-changing hope, strength and joy that a wish provides to other local kids and families.
During my wish, I felt like a real princess!
I wished to meet the Disney princesses and jetted off to Orlando with my family to make it happen! I’ll never forget how happy and stress free our entire family was. We truly felt like all the hard work, tears, pain, stress and time apart we’ve had battling a blood disorder was acknowledged. I was so happy to go on vacation and not have to go to a doctor’s appointment. We were all able to just focus on fun!
I’ll never forget having a special meeting with Anna and Elsa. They gave me a big hug and told me I was a princess, just like them! I was so excited and just wanted to keep smiling.
Wishes are important because they make kids happy, even during the toughest moments of battling a critical illness. I was so happy when I got to meet princesses and loved my wish so much!
Today, I’m asking you to support me with a donation so more kids with critical illnesses can keep wishing. Kids like me, who are battling a critical illness like cancer or heart disease and deserve to dream big and feel the happiness a wish can bring.
Will you please help me make a difference in our community?
Let’s show other kids in our community what can happen when a group of caring people rally around them to make dreams come true.
Together, we can provide so much hope!
Sincerely,
Wish Ambassador Emmi
