Dear friends, family and community members,
My name is McKenna, a 7-year-old from Newberg, and I am a 2025 Make-A-Wish Oregon Wish Ambassador!
As a Wish Ambassador, it is my job to spread the life-changing hope, strength and joy that a wish provides to other local kids and families.
I want to help other kids experience joy and fun when they are going through the toughest time in their life.
After battling cancer, my wish to meet ALL the princesses at the Walt Disney World® Resort gave me continued hope. The moment my wish came true, I remember feeling overwhelming joy! My whole family cried, happy tears, during the absolutely incredible experience. I had so much fun during my stay at Give Kids The World Village, I never wanted to leave!
Wishes are important because they help kids feel that tangible joy. My dad says it’s helped us all rebuild and rebound together from the fight we all endured.
“She is such a fighter and helped carry us along at points with her inspiration, drive, and huge heart,” said my dad, Jamie.
Today, I’m asking you to open your heart and support me with a donation so more kids with critical illnesses can keep wishing. Kids like me, who are battling a critical illness like cancer and deserve to dream big and feel the happiness a wish can bring.
