Dear friends, family and community members,
Thanks for joining us to celebrate Elianna's 13th birthday this March! Every donation you make, now through her birthday month, will go toward helping make more local wishes come true!
Ever since Ellie's wish was granted, we've been spreading the life-changing hope, strength and joy that a wish provides to other local kids and families. Ellie loves being outdoors and going on adventures with her family. With the progression of her nervous system disorder and the medical equipment needed wherever she goes, family adventures turned into overpacked, over planned and under-enjoyed chores.
Ellie’s wish to have an RV changed all that. Although she is nonverbal, her eyes speak volumes and were bright with excitement the day she arrived to pick up her trailer. She immediately lit up when she got inside and her siblings were so excited, that excitement brought her joy as well. The first time we camped as a family again, after medical needs made it impossible for so many years, it was like she could hardly believe it was happening.
Wishes are important, especially for young kiddos fighting critical illnesses. For many of these special, strong children – it is the bright spot that will get them through current and future dark and hard days. When giving up seems easier than going on, they can remember or look at their wish and close their eyes to feel the love all over again that went into granting it.
Today, I’m asking you to support Ellie in helping grant wishes for other children, who will feel the impact for a lifetime.
Let’s show other kids in our community what can happen when a group of caring people rally around them to make dreams come true. Donate to my page in support of local, life-changing wishes, like Ellie’s.
Not only has her wish allowed us to start camping as a family again together, but it has also proven that angels will show up during the darkest times, many dressed in blue t-shirts, to put a smile on a little girl's face.
Sincerely,
Wish Ambassador Ellie & Wish Mom Anna
