Dear Friends, Family, & Beaverton High School Community,
Week of Wishes is back and better than ever!
Welcome to our fundraising page benefiting Make-A-Wish Oregon! Over the years, BHS has granted over 50 wishes, Our goal this year is to raise $7,500 to grant another wish of a local child, and with your help, we know we can accomplish it together!
Here are the Week of Wishes details...
WHO: Beaverton High School students, staff, community
WHAT: A week of fun and festive school activities
WHERE: Beaverton High School
WHY: To build community, increase school spirit, bring the “together” back to BHS, and grant a wish for a local child with a life-threatening medical condition through the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Oregon by raising $7,500.
Our local Make-A-Wish chapter, based in Portland, grants wishes to children, ages 2-1/2 to 18, living in Oregon and Clark County, Washington. A wish come true empowers children with critical illnesses to fight harder against their medical condition. When a child is granted a wish, they get more than just a great experience for a day or a week. That experience improves the quality of life for them and their entire
family.
When a wish is granted, a child replaces fear with confidence, sadness with joy and anxiety with hope. For many of these children, it marks a turning point in their fight against their illness.
Please help by contributing any amount you can. Every dollar you donate can help these children renew their courage and find a turning point in their lives.
Thank you for your support!
Sincerely,
Sports Marketing students of Beaverton High School
