El Dorado High School's Make-A-Wish Fundraiser
Dear Community,
My name is Ethan Yochum, El Dorado High School ASB’s executive treasurer, the founder of El Dorado’s Make-A-Wish Club, a captain on Men’s Varsity Tennis, and a current senior at El Dorado. It is my pleasure to announce for the month of February El Dorado will be running our second annual Make-A-Wish Fundraiser. Last year we ran this fundraiser through our school, surpassing our goal of $7,500 and raising over $8,000 in just two weeks. With our efforts, El Dorado adopted their first wish child, Emmanuel, who suffered from sickle-cell disease, granting his wish of a custom PC to pursue his animation dreams, which a plaque is proudly displayed in the offices of El Dorado High School.
This year, for the month of February, we will want to double our initial goal and work to fundraise $15,000 to adopt two wish children. It is the combined efforts of our community that will allow for this goal to be achieved. No matter the circumstances, every child deserves a childhood. Life-changing wishes wouldn't happen without the power of donors like you. Your support gives children much-needed hope for brighter days ahead. Hope is essential for children with critical illnesses, and you can unlock its life-changing power today.
