I'm proudly fundraising for Make-A-Wish – will you join me by making a gift today? I am a member of the Oklahoma Make-A-Wish Youth Leadership Council and am raising money so children can experience joy and hope by having their wish granted.
For every suggested donation of $20 or more, your name will be entered into a drawing to win one of four variety packs of beef valued at $180. Each variety pack will contain 2 chuck roast, 2 New York Strips, 2 stew meats, 2 round steaks, and 10 pounds of ground beef. The beef is premium grain fed by 405 Quality Meats LLC in Perkins, OK. The winners of the beef will be selected on May 15, 2024. The beef will be perfect for Memorial Day weekend.
I know first hand how impactful a granted wish is to a wish kid. My sister Allie was granted a wish trip to Alaska in August of 2022. It was an amazing week where our family was not focused on her cancer and we made life time memories.
When a wish is granted, a child replaces fear with confidence, sadness with joy and anxiety with hope. The majority of wish kids go on to beat their critical illnesses, and research shows that a wish can help children build the physical and emotional strength they need to fight – giving them a better chance of surviving and thriving.
