On May 23rd, 2024, Travis passed away peacefully surrounded by his family and friends. We want to express our gratitude to all of you for the hope and support you have empowered him with throughout his life filled with love, compassion and strength.
Travis first came to Make-A-Wish in 2003 and used his wish to publish a children's book, The Spider Who Never Gave Up, that gave an inspiring message to those who are struggling. Since then, his impact has been far and wide in advocating for Make-A-Wish, Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, and other causes.
To his organ donors and their families: your gift allowed Travis to beat the odds to spend extraordinary years with family and friends. We thank you for every additional breath he was able to take in your honor. We are forever grateful to you and anyone considering that choice. You are true heroes. For those in the fight, never give up on your hopes and dreams.
