As many people know, a little over two years ago I had to take a step back from pretty much everything to take care of my family. As I've gradually leaned back in, one of the experiences I've missed the most is being able to serve the Cleveland community.
Well, I'm back! I've joined the Northern Ohio Advisory Board for the Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana Chapter of the Make-A-Wish Foundation. As a parent and as a cancer survivor, I couldn't turn down the opportunity to join an organization that is a pure force for good in this world.
To get things started, I've decided to run a small personal fundraiser. I would truly appreciate any small amounts you would be willing to give, and I'll match any donations, dollar for dollar, up to $1,000.
And mark your calendars for April 26, 2024, the next Wish Gala. I hope you all missed the fundraising part of my personality as much as I did!
When a wish is granted, a child replaces fear with confidence, sadness with joy and anxiety with hope. The majority of wish kids go on to beat their critical illnesses, and research shows that a wish can help children build the physical and emotional strength they need to fight – giving them a better chance of surviving and thriving.
