Hi family and friends! It's that time of the year again - time to raise money for Make-A-Wish!
As a recap, I am a member of Chi Omega at The Ohio State University and we partner with Make-A-Wish of America for our philanthropy efforts. Make-A-Wish helps grant wishes for children with critical illnesses and their families. It's truly amazing what wishes can do: give kids renewed energy and strength, bring families closer together and unite communities.
I am on track to become a nurse after graduating and am working currently at Nationwide Children's Hospital as a Patient Care Assistant. Through my experiences working, I have cared for children in extremely tough situations both physically and emotionally. Seeing what these kids have to go through at such a young age gave me so much respect and passion for what Make-A-Wish does for children and their families. Make-A-Wish was also one of the reasons I joined Chi Omega to begin with, so I'm super excited to be raising money to support granting wishes.
My chapter of Chi Omega is aiming to raise $40,000 this, $10,000 more dollars than last year! Every $10,000 grants one wish so with that amount 4 wishes could be granted to kids in the Columbus area. Last year our chapter raised over $50,000 and was the highest fundraising chapter in the Ohio, Indiana and Kentucky area! I'm hoping we can top it this year:)
Together, we can grant more wishes for these kids going through tremendous adversities and hardships. Please consider donating to my fundraising page today! Any amount, even a couple bucks, will go towards my goal of raising $250!
Together, we can grant more wishes. If you are able to, please consider donating today!
Thank you for your support!
