The Silver Lining Sacramento
Welcome to our 2024 Make A Wish fundraiser. We are a group of seven passionate female vocalists - Lisa/Founder, Kim/Musical Director, Betsy, Kathleen, Liz, Mary, and Patti - united in our belief in the transformative power of music to uplift spirits and generate crucial support in the fight against cancer and critical illnesses.
This year, we are thrilled to announce that Sacramento's legendary 13-piece band, Hipper Than Hip, has generously donated their talent and time for our fundraising effort for Make-A-Wish. With their amazing vocalists, kick-ass horn section, and talented instrumentalists, prepare to be transported through timeless hits by Tower of Power, Chicago, Earth Wind and Fire, Aretha Franklin, Tina Turner, Stevie Wonder, Bruno Mars, and many more iconic artists. Bring your dancing shoes for an afternoon of incredible live entertainment, popular a cappella tunes by The Silver Lining and some awesome raffle prizes for an opportunity to be part of something truly special as we unite to bring smiles to children and their families in the local Sacramento area, creating cherished memories for those battling critical illnesses.
When a wish is granted, a child replaces fear with confidence, sadness with joy, and anxiety with hope. The majority of wish kids go on to beat their critical illnesses, and research shows that a wish can help children build the physical and emotional strength they need to fight – giving them a better chance of surviving and thriving. There are approximately 200 children in the Sacramento area with a critical illness, and it is a blessing that they can count on donors like us to help make their wish come true.
Join us on Sunday, October 20th, 2024, from 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at Track7 Brewing Company, 826 Professor Lane, Suite 100, Sacramento CA 95834. Track7 has generously donated their space for our event. We are forever grateful for their generosity.
Cost: $30.00 per ticket, including one complimentary raffle ticket (please click the "Donate Now" button and indicate the number of tickets you are purchasing in the "how would you like your name displayed" box so we can record your ticket count accurately and ensure a smooth check-in).
If you are unable to make our fundraiser, we would welcome your tax deductible donation in support of granting wishes for our local Sacramento children. Thank you!
