Miller's Ace Hardware - Walk For Wishes
Welcome to our first Miller's Ace Hardware Walk for Wishes!
Miller is a Wish Kid and wants to make sure that other other children with critical illnesses receive their wish.
Join us for a family and pet friendly 1.5 mile walk on April 21, 2024 through Fair Oaks Park, beginning and ending at Miller's Ace Hardware. The event begins at 11:00 am and there will be a few surprises along the way! The celebration continues back at the store where volunteers and sponsors will grill up some food and fun.
Want to register to join or form a Team? A tax deductible donation of $25 per adult and $15 per youth will cover your registration fee (includes a t-shirt and the opportunity to walk). You can walk by yourself, or if you'd like to make a team of friends of colleagues, we would love to see your group together on walk day—don't be afraid of group costumes!! When a wish is granted, a child replaces fear with confidence, sadness with joy and anxiety with hope. The majority of wish kids go on to beat their critical illnesses, and research shows that a wish can help children build the physical and emotional strength they need to fight – giving them a better chance of surviving and thriving.
Every day, 70+ children are diagnosed with a critical illness and count on donors like us to help make their wish come true.
