Now more than ever, the world needs the hope of a wish-come-true.
Hope is essential and no matter the circumstances, every child deserves a childhood. When a wish is granted, a child replaces fear with confidence, sadness with joy and anxiety with hope.
Research shows children who have wishes granted can build the physical and emotional strength they need to fight and even overcome a critical illness.
This year, our local Make-A-Wish chapter is on track to grant the heartfelt wish of over 420 children courageously battling a critical illness in our region. That number may seem like an accomplishment; however, the harsh reality is that there are currently over 600 children in our wish pipeline.
A wish has the unique power to inspire and rally communities, while restoring a piece of childhood that a critical illnesses has ripped away. With your support, many more people will discover the life-changing power of a wish and, together, we can make even more wishes come true for children with critical illnesses right here in our community.
