When a wish is granted, a child replaces fear with confidence, sadness with joy and anxiety with hope.  Research shows that a wish can help children build the physical and emotional strength they need to fight - giving them a better chance of surviving and thriving.

My family and I know how important these wishes are because we were recipients of one.  My daughter was diagnosed with Leukemia in 2020.  This is a terrible disease that progresses quickly.  She was very fortunate that a relatively new treatment worked for her (the chemo didn't).  In 2022, we went on her Make a Wish trip where she got to meet WWE celebrity wrestlers and watch Summer Slam.  She was thrilled!  It was so amazing to see her happy, smiling and carefree after all those months in the hospital and ICU.  That joy was such a welcome feeling for all of us; because during those dark/trying times, we weren't sure we would ever feel that again.

This year, Gabriella is celebrating being cancer free for over 3 years!

Every day, 70+ children are diagnosed with a critical illness and count on donors like us to help make their wishes come true.
