At that time, the Make-A-Wish Foundation granted my wish to visit the land of my dreams, Hawaii. That wish experience had a very positive impact on my life during a tough time. My wish brought me happiness, hope, and renewed strength.
To mark the 10-year anniversary of my TM recovery, Blue Sky Café & Bar, 9999 Winghaven Blvd, O'Fallon, MO 63368, is hosting a Hawaiian-themed “HAPPY HOUR” on
Wednesday, April 24, from 6-9 p.m. with proceeds being donated to the local chapter of the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
So, pull out your Hawaiian attire, or come as you are, and join me at “Happy Hour” on April 24th from 6-9 p.m. at Blue Sky Café & Bar in O’Fallon, because together we can “WISH IT FORWARD”. I sure look forward to seeing your smiling face!

From my own personal experience, I know a “granted wish” truly makes a difference to a child who is battling a critical illness. Every day, 70+ children are diagnosed with a critical illness and count on donors like us to help make their wish come true. When a wish is granted, a child replaces fear with confidence, sadness with joy and anxiety with hope.
